Cooking Classes for Ages 14+
With Cooking Instructor – Teresa Feliciano
WWDSS is pleased to offer a recreational cooking class for members with Down syndrome ages 14 and older (1 class option for Beginner Level and 2 class options for Intermediate Level). The purpose of the class is to allow the cooking instructor and participants to get to know each other. Each class will be doing the same/similar recipe, which will be simple to prepare and adapted to any skill level. Participants will work in groups of 2-3 and will have a volunteer assisting them in completing their recipe. After cooking, everyone will sit down to enjoy the meal together. Classes will take a break over the summer and start up again in the fall.
