2026-11 Cooking Class - Age 14+ - Thursdays
Each class, students will be lead by chef instructor, Lisa Eckhardt to create from scratch a meal that includes main entrée and dessert. Once the meal is prepared, the group will sit down to enjoy the meal together followed by clean up.
DAY/TIME: Thursdays, November 5 - December 10
TIME: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
WHERE: St. Matthew’s Church, 54 Benton Street, Kitchener, ON
COST: $120 for 6 week session, open to all WWDSS members and subsidized by WWDSS
SPECIAL NOTES: Support workers will be present to assist as needed to ensure success. Parents are asked to volunteer for two classes to help.
Recipes will be adjusted as needed, depending on participants’ dietary restrictions and/or allergies.
